Send files up to 10 GB in Gmail
10 GB Gmail can usually send files up to 25 megabytes in size. Files larger than this cannot be sent to Gmail. However, it is possible to send files of 10 GB size to Gmail. Let’s take a look at the trick to send large files in Gmail—
If the size of the Gmail file is more than 25 megabytes, it must be uploaded to Google Drive first. Then, after entering Gmail from the computer, click on the compose option to open the e-mail writing window. After writing the recipient, e-mail subject, and e-mail description, click on the Google Drive icon below the compose window.
A popup will appear. Now if you select the file from Google Drive and click on the insert option, it will be added to the e-mail. After pressing the send option, the e-mail with the large file will go to the recipient.
To use this feature on the phone, first, enter the Gmail app and tap the compose icon. Then in the window that appears, write all the basic information of the mail in the same way and tap on the attachment icon at the top and select Insert from Drive. Then select My Drive and select the desired file and it will be attached to the e-mail. After pressing the send option, the e-mail with the large file will go to the recipient.
